In this video, we will be performing throughput test on two client laptops, one having a Broadcom Wi-Fi card and the other with the Intel Centrino card. We will compare the throughput provided by both clients in 2.4 GHz and 5GHz.
Test Equipments used: A Cisco Air cap 3602 I-A-K9 (4x4:3 MIMO) dual band access point is used. Cisco 5508 WLAN Controller. We have installed IXIA Chariot end point software two different clients, one laptop with Broadcom BCM 43xx Wi-Fi card and other laptop with Intel Centrino Ultimate N6300 AGN Wi-Fi. A laptop with IXIA Chariot software will act as a console to run the throughput test.

Here's how to fix wireless issues you may have with some routers using the Novatech laptop (or any laptop using this particular Intel chipset). This is not Novatechs fault, it is a failing of this particular Intel chipset, any laptop using it suffers from this issue (search around, you will find plenty of threads about HP, Toshiba etc laptops with this issue).
Apologies for audio, I will get a mic sorted for the next vid :PA detailed video tutorial explaining how to fix Intel 5100 5300 Mini-PCIE WIFI radio on issue when upgrading an old laptop with a new WIFI card, also suitable for Intel WiFi Link 5000 vPro series and 4965 Series on laptop brands such as Toshiba, IBM, HP and Dell.
You will need:
1. A laptop with a wifi radio on and off switch (Either a flip switch on the sides or front of the laptop, fn key buttons, or a press switch on the top of the laptop).
2. PVC Tape (Electrical Tape)
3. A pair of tweezers for placing the tape over pin 20
4. If your laptop only has 2 antennas and you are installing/upgrading to a 2.4Ghz / 5Ghz dual band card that has 3 antennas you will need to purchase an internal antenna.
5. A WLAN PCI-E Card
6. A full height or mini PCI-E socket
